A Loving Container- Pathways to Positive Self-Relating
One Day- Art Therapy Workshop
Genuine Positive Self relating sits at the core of our ability to engage with and move through life in a way that is nourishing and generative, and for developing the ability to respond to life’s experiences and challenges creatively, and from a present and empowered place within ourselves,... as apposed to living in ‘survival mode’ governed by inner criticism, and ultimately making choices from deeper restrictive fears and beliefs. Low self worth at a deeper level is common for many of us, and moving through life with this at our core is a powerful challenge that can be what is truly underneath daily symptoms of Stress, Anxiety, Overwhelm and Depression. To begin to develop an empowered and loving relationship with self we start by creating a safe and nourishing space for inner relatedness, supporting us to open up to meet and engage the deeper parts of ourselves with curiosity, care and compassion, offering us a powerful foundation from which we can lead our selves into flourishing.

WORKSHOP

Spend a day connecting with the deeper you, learn how to begin truly listening to your deeper needs and desires, nourish your self esteem, share co creative time with others and create a foundational internal space for Self-Relating from which to launch a more positive relationship of self awareness, self engagement and empowered self care.

This process will be supported by Counsellor and Art Therapist Jodie Davies. The workshop will be held in the nourishing nest of the Lilac Tree Clinic and will include Relaxation Meditation Practice, Feeling and Body awareness, Supported Sharing, Guided Imagery, and a nourishing Art Therapy process in which we will create our own unique ‘Loving Container’. This workshop is suited for those beginning with this journey with themselves and for those who wish to support and nourish their foundational inner relationship. All Art Therapy processes are simple and supported by your therapist, with no artistic talent required.
