 Lilac Tree is a name chosen from the song Lilac Wine written by James Shelton and  performed by, amoung others,  Jeff Buckley. This song carries me on a Journey through honest feeling and the vulnerable and desiring heart, reminding me of the path we tread through life and authentic growth and healing . See the Lilac Blossoms, richly sweet smelling and vibrant in colour, with their petals pointing in the four directions.  The Tree is symbolic in many cultures of the Self, representative of knowledge, growth and changing seasons, a grounding and protective place to nest and rest. In Sharmanic philosophies the Tree is said to be a doorway through which we can access deeper and wider parts of ourselves.
